Mid-Century Red Guro Yu Gu Mask

A beautiful Gu mask with vibrant colours, lofty coiffure and some stylised scarified features decorated in tones of red, blue, white and black. The Gu mask takes its name from the translation, brave female and is one of many Yu masks worn by the Guro people when mourning deceased members of the community.
